everyone has one of these lists, right? you know what i’m talking about. the list of things you want to do before you die. all the crazy/fun stuff you promise to do before you kick the bucket. i definitely have way more than 13 things i would like to do, but here is a list of my choices chosen at random. what’s on your bucket list?

1. read through the entire bible – i have always wanted to do this. i always try to make it my new year’s resolution and stick to the plan, but by february or march i’ve already gotten distracted. i really want to finish it. it’s God’s personal words to us and it’s so special. i NEED to make this happen.

2. go skydiving – i’m not scared of heights. i love roller coasters. however, i am a BIG worry wart. i over-think EVERYTHING. i feel like i would have to do this on a spur of the moment, because i would probably end up talking myself out of it. it looks like so much fun, but knowing my luck i’d be the one to go SPLAT! haha. actually, not so funny…

3. marry the love of my life and have a family – nuff said.

4. visit australia –  i have always wanted to go there. one of my best friends was lucky enough to visit the summer after she graduated high school. i was SO envious of her. she even got to hold a koala after she got off the plain. JEALOUS! haha. australia seems so beautiful. i would love to take a nice long trip there. i know me and my camera would have loads of fun. 😉

5. learn how to knit – i spend enough money on scarves anyway, why not learn how to make my own, right?

6. go on a cruise – any cruise would do, but i feel like a disney cruise would be super fun. kid at heart? i think so 🙂

7. adopt a child – i really hope this comes true. i LOVE kids. if it were up to me, i’d have my own orphanage and be a mommy to all the kids there. i love kids and i LOVE giving them love. it’s such an amazing thing. it’s also very important for a child to have love. i feel like if i could do this, i definitely couldn’t adopt just one. i would love to have a little girl from india, a little girl from china, a little boy from russia, and another little boy from africa.

8. to be the best photographer i can be – i would love to keep growing in my passion. i want to know all there is to know about photography and to always practice this art. i want to be a better business person and be the best i can be for myself and my clients.

9. read all the books on my list – i have SO many books i want to read. feel free to recommend me some titles. i’ll add ’em to the list. i can never have enough. 😉

10. ride in a hot air balloon – even before “up” came out, i wanted to ride in a hot air balloon. they are so beautiful and colorful. it would be such a wonderful and fun experience.

11. to make a difference in someone’s life – this explains itself.

12. become fluent in sign language – i took a sign language class in high school and since then i have fallen in love with the language. i still perform sign language to music at my church with my sisters. i also try to incorporate it into my story time at school. i love it. i talk with my hands a lot any way, so it’s perfect. it’s such a beautiful way to express yourself and it gives you a whole new appreciation for life.

13. learn to play an instrument (guitar, ukulele, piano, saxaphone, drums…) –  i LOVE music, but have never played an instrument before (unless you count the recorder from elementary school haha). i’ve secretly always wanted to be a rockstar. 😉

TOMORROW IS FRIDAY!!! YAY! have a fun and safe weekend, friends. oh, and here’s a look at a project i’m putting together. my kids at school are BEAUTIFUL! just take a look:
