to say that i am blessed, would be an understatement. this year in photography has been a beautiful whirlwind. i have met so many wonderful people, made new friends, and experienced so many new and wonderful things. it’s been a dream. it makes my heart so happy to be doing something i love so much. i love being a part of these people’s lives and sharing such a monumental time with them. it’s amazing and i hope i can continue to do this.  I LIVE FOR THIS STUFF!!! i love when the groom first sees his bride. i love when the bridesmaids get choked up for their best friend getting married to the love of her life. i love seeing the cute little kids twirling around the dance floor. i love the vulnerability shared between the bride and groom when saying their vows. i love LOVE. it’s beautiful.

i love being able to capture all of these special moments so they can be relived. that’s my favorite thing about photography. i love looking back at pictures and being reminded of that memory. it triggers where i was, what i was doing, and the emotion i felt. there is so much power in one picture and that’s why i love what i do. i love being able to give someone a gift like that. i love that someone can look at a picture i took and feel so much joy tied to that frozen moment.

that is why i LOVE weddings. often times, the day is blur and when brides look back on it, they can’t remember much. photography plays such a crucial role. this allows people to go back and relive their special day. who wouldn’t want that? to go back and live in the moment where something so wonderful and priceless happened? that is why my heart belongs to photography. i want to capture life’s important moments and share it with the world. life is too short. a simple photograph can help remind you of the joy you had that day and even inspire you to find that joy again.

i thoroughly enjoyed going through these wedding pictures and trying to pick some of my favorites. i remember each wedding day like it JUST happened. i am so honored i was able to be a part of these beautiful days. i met amazing people and i’m so blessed to have such beautiful clients, inside and out. here are some of my favorites from this year. ♥
