independence day is my favorite holiday. why? i LOVE fireworks. i love yummy food. i love summer. i love the pool. i love family time. i also love celebrating our heroes. really, i LOVE america. sure i may get upset about things that happen and the politics of certain situations, but overall we live in a really great country. we are FREE. free to live, free to worship, free to live the dream. so thankful for the heroes that fight to protect us. God bless you all!

i know this post is a little behind, but hey! better late than never, right? anyway, i got the day off! woooohoooo!!! it was weird having to go back to work the next day. it felt like having two mondays in one week. weird! it was a nice break, though. i got to sleep in for a bit, edit pictures without being rushed, swim in the pool, eat yummy food, and watch fireworks. gahhh!!! i have an obsession with fireworks. my face always lights up when i see them. they’re so happy haha. i remember when i went to disney world one time, i could fall asleep looking out the window and drift off to fireworks lighting up in the distance. it was a dream! i really wish i could do that again. that is one of my fondest memories. and believe me when i say, if i could have fireworks when i get married i totally would! 😉 hehe.

well, i hope you all had a well-rested holiday and remembered to be thankful for the ones who allowed it to happen. ♥
