dear amanda panda,

i can’t believe this picture was taken 5 years ago! time has really flown by fast. 16 was a milestone birthday and now you’re already 21! stop getting older because that means i am getting way old haha.

5 years ago, we were two completely different people. we butted heads and could barely stand to be in the same room as each other. i was the toothpaste to your orange juice and the oil to your water. 😉 i’m so glad we are over that stage in our lives and can actually call each other friend! i’m so thankful for our relationship and really don’t want you to go back to school in a couple of weeks.

i know we still get disgruntled with each other. i call you grumpycat and you call me a hobo. it’s cool, because i know that at the end of the day, despite our silly comments, we still love each other.

i’m so proud of the woman you are growing into. you are strong, fearless, and beautiful! you have enough ambition and drive to conquer whatever you set your mind to. do you mind sharing some of that? 😉
