oh daddy. me and him are like orange juice and toothpaste. soda and cereal. peanut butter and ranch. the perfect combo, right?! haha. just kidding. i USED to think we were like these extreme opposites but then i realized the reason we argue so much is because we are so much alike. he is my movie buddy and my law-and-order-svu-marathon-watching buddy. he knows more about the civil war than anyone i know. i firmly believe that if he were to go on jeopardy, he would kick everyone’s butts.
while we have been through our rough spots, i still love this grumpy teddy bear so much! i hope you had a wonderful father’s day! love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu bert! 😉
and here’s a funny look into a father’s day card from back in the day!!! we had to dress up in a way that we see our dad! i’d say we were pretty accurate! 😉

hahaha. i love that photo of u two at the top and the dress up! When he was a kid he used to entertain us with shows! We all sat on the stairs and he would perform centerfloor….I think u girls got that from him! He is actually the smartest of all six of us. Even Sal said that to me one time! I hope he becomes a docent for the Civil War museum, or better, find a job that pays for all the info he knows!
Tell him i will take him to a Fort Pointe in SF if he will come out here. It’s a Civil War fort underneath the Golden Gate Bridge. Roadtrip.
