today was my sister, alexi’s, senior homecoming. now, before you look at this with a funny face we went to a private christian school. we don’t have a football team so we have homecoming during basketball season. each class nominates a guy and girl to represent them and the senior class chooses 6 representatives (3 guys and 3 girls). the lower class representatives are the homecoming princes and princesses. for the senior class, the middle and high school students vote for the homecoming queen and king.

alexi had the honor of being nominated for a class representative. she looked so beautiful and i cannot tell you how proud of her i was. she held herself with grace and was so classy. who would have thought the volleyball jock could turn into cinderella? 🙂

wahhhh! this is just one more step closer to her graduating high school. why is everyone growing up so fast? i almost cried tonight when she was up there. i don’t know what i am going to do when graduation rolls around. oy!
