Yesterday, a lady I admire and look up to looked at me and told me that she was proud of me. Those 4 words hit me all the way in the soft part of my heart and made me tear up. “I’m proud of you,” she said. I don’t know why, but it meant a lot to me. It’s nice to know that someone is proud of you and the hard work you put in to make your dreams a reality.
So today, I wanted to tell you that I am proud of you.
I’m proud of you for getting up early to do your devotion.
I’m proud of you for saying no to that cookie and going on a walk instead (I should learn from you! ;).
I’m proud of you for being the best mom you can be.
I’m proud of you for studying hard for your test.
I’m proud of you for working two jobs to make your dreams come true.
I’m proud of you for starting your business.
I’m proud of you for running that 5k, 10k, and marathon!
I’m proud of you for having patience.
I’m proud of you for buying what you needed in Target and not what you wanted. 😉
I’m proud of you for staying up late to make your husband lunch.
I’m proud of you for keeping your room clean.
I’m proud of you for smiling even when you’ve had a bad day.
