this weekend was absolutely fabulous! i celebrated my birthday with friends and family, went to the zoo, and watched frozen! i still can’t believe i’m 25, especially after my choices for birthday fun! haha. it looks more like i’m 5! 😉

it was so nice getting to celebrate with two of my really good friends! we had such a great time! the weather was absolutely gorgeous too! usually on my birthday it rains. ya know, april showers bring may flowers. i always loathed that poem in elementary school because it’s so true! haha. it always made me sad to have an april birthday because it ALWAYS rained! haha. it even rained on my birthday last year. i remember walking into work with my hair soaking wet because it was pouring outside. this year was a great surprise to have a beautiful day! i think i even got a little tan! 😉

oh, and i finished divergent this weekend! gah! such a great book! now on to the next one (which i thankfully received as a birthday gift!). all i need is a beach to go read on and i’ll be as happy as a girl at a one direction concert! 😉
