whew! this weekend was seriously amazing! as we were driving home last night, i was so sad that it was already sunday evening! weekends are so short, but we sure did make the most of it! alexi is officially home for the summer and it was so nice to have her back! as soon as we got off work on friday, justin, alexi, and i headed to his home in bedford! but before getting there we had to make a pitstop at one of our favorite restaurants in farmville: the fishin’ pig! such a good bbq joint! if you’re ever in our college town, you should definitely check it out! yum!

saturday was the day i had been waiting for over a year! megan and rob were getting married and it was so much fun! it was nice to have justin and alexi by my side during the wedding! i wish it could happen more often! megan and rob’s day was absolutely perfect for them and i can’t wait to share their wedding with you on wednesday!

before we had to head back home, we had to make some time for some country fun! justin introduced alexi to her first “shooting” experience. she even hit clays on her first try! i also realized that i’m left-eye dominant! once we figured that out, i hit my target right away! we won’t talk about how many times i missed before that! 😉

we made it home just in time to celebrate at our favorite mexican restaurant in honor of cinco de mayo! it truly is my favorite place and you should definitely check it out HERE! 🙂

i hope everyone else had a beautiful weekend and enjoyed this gorgeous weather! now if only the pollen would go away, then i could fully enjoy it as well! 😉

happy monday, everyone! be sure to check out some peeks from megan and rob’s wedding here! 🙂
