this weekend was so good for the soul! i was surrounded with my sweet friends each day and couldn’t have asked for anything more!
saturday i got to spend time with my bpf, nikki, and help her second shoot her last wedding of the season! before the wedding, we had some much needed girl time which also included pedicures. so much fun! it was so nice and relaxing. a definite necessity before a wedding!
it’s always so fun to shoot weddings with my friends! it makes the day even more enjoyable than usual, with a sweet friend by your side! i cannot wait to show you pictures from joanie and marc’s wedding day! it was perfectly richmond! their first look was at byrd park, followed by a ceremony at main street station, and ending with a local richmond bar right next door. such a beautiful day!
i even got to meet up with my sister, alexi afterwards! she and her friends were in town to get her nose pierced, so of course i had to supervise. haha. it was good to see her, even if it was for a split-second! now i just need to see amanda and my life will be complete! 😉
sunday was filled with everything i needed! my morning started with my church family and was so uplifting! we watched this amazing video by billy graham (who just turned 95). it’s incredible to see how much God has used him over the years and the impact his words! make time to watch this video! you won’t regret it!
afterwards i met with some super sweet clients! i cannot WAIT to photograph these two and share their super sweet love story with you all! they had me grinning from ear to ear when they were telling me! it’s the sweetest! i know you guys will love it as much as i did.
when my meeting was over, i had the pleasure of spending time with two of my best friends from longwood! we spent way too many hours at baker’s crust catching up on each other’s lives. it was wonderful! then we roamed the mall and just enjoyed each other’s company! i even got a cute outfit for pictures next week! it’s so weird not being able to see them every day like we used to when we were in school! i definitely wish we all lived closer, but it helps me appreciate my time with them even more when we do get together! i just wish it was more often! 🙂
