another weekend has come and gone. wahhh! the bets ones always do!

i had such a great time this weekend, because i spent it in va beach with two of my best friends! we explored new restaurants, went to the aquarium, and hung out at the beach. we even watched the new show, girl meets world. yes, we’re all mid-twenties and were watching the disney channel. it’s totally cool. 😉 i am definitely doing my best to enjoy these low-key weekends in july, before the next round of weddings start. i’m very excited for the upcoming weddings, but i’m definitely enjoying my downtime too! 🙂

here are some pictures from our visit to the aquarium! so fun!!!!! i think my favorite part was getting to interact with the stingrays. of course, i don’t have any pictures of them, because my hands were in the water the whole time playing with them haha. we also talked about finding nemo a lot . how could we not? look at all the animals from there! 🙂

this is a cool project at the museum! they built this beautiful display out of all the trash they found that washed ashore on the beaches! while everything was so beautiful and creative, it definitely made an impact! it was crazy when you looked up close and saw all the different materials they found that just washed up on the beaches: chapstick, shoes, bottle caps, styrafoam, water bottles, etc. it makes you think twice when passing a piece of trash on the beach without picking it up. 

there was this awesome place called pita pit! oh em gee!!! we need one in richmond!!!! SO GOOD!!!!!! it’s not good to have cravings for something that is so far away! wahhh! i heard they have one in orlando though, so we will definitely be taking a visit when we drop amanda off in florida! 😉 

and lastly, we tried this amazing gelato place! gah! so good! i was adventurous and tried something that wasn’t chocolatey (my norm). i tried something called raspberry sweet corn! oh em gee! SO GOOD!!!! definitely glad i chose that! and again, why does this have to be so far away?!

we ended out this weekend with a fun senior session at the beach! can’t wait to share more!
