alright guys! i’m back from my blogging break and ready to get in the groove of things! 🙂 did ya miss me? 😉

these next few months are gonna be super crazy and i just needed to get my head in check. now i’m ready to go! a fun sister road trip to orlando wasn’t too bad either! 🙂

saturday morning we woke up at the butt crack of dawn, loaded the car, and were on our way. our first stop was in jacksonville, florida! we met amanda’s boyfriend’s mom for dinner and quick trip to the beach! gosh! florida beaches are so pretty and the water is so warm! i wish we could’ve gotten to hang out at the beach longer, but the time we spent there was still beautiful!

then, jared’s sweet mom took us out to dinner! it was so fun! we felt like royalty! she also shared some fun stories with us too! our interesting hotel stay! haha. a random sock and a cigarette burn in the blankets! p.s. if you look closely, you’ll see alexi’s face on the other side! 🙂 the next morning, before heading to orlando, we made a detour to st. augustine! gah! i’m so glad we did! it was so gorgeous! if anyone ever wants to get married there or do an engagement session there, count me in! your pictures will be phenomenal!

of course i took a ton of pictures of palm trees! they’re so fun! we also saw the cutest alpaca store! now i want one even more! we even tried this fun homemade popsicles to cool off! i had strawberry basil, amanda has blueberry cinnamon, and alexi had peachy peach! yum! a beautiful church we saw! see what i mean? just plain gorgeous! after st. augustine, we headed to orlando! we drove through some nasty rain storms, but thankfully we survived. bonus: we didn’t kill each other either! it was a close call at times, but we made it through! 😉

on monday, amanda checked in to her new living quarters and got her job assignment with disney. while she was doing that, alexi and i made a spontaneous decision to go to disney world! i won’t be able to afford food for the next couple of weeks, but it was totally worth it! 😉 we hadn’t been to disney world in SO LONG so we decided to just do it! we felt like kids again! we were so excited about everything! we even go to go to a frozen sing-a-long show! best. day. EVER!!!!!!! i think i was having more fun than some of the kids there! 🙂

 rockin’ roller coaster and the hollywood tower of terror were definitely two high points of our day too! best rides there! you can’t go to disney without getting a mickey ice cream!!!!!

since we couldn’t buy any souvenirs, we decided to just take pictures with everything we liked! 😉 haha. they had the cutest pillow pets and i must admit, that i really really really want one now! haha. this is why i fit right in with my preschool kids! 😉 we got to meet alexi’s favorite character! fun fact: when we were little, she dressed up as pluto for halloween! cutest pluto ever! then i got to meet stitch!!!!! eeeepppp!!!!we stayed at the park until amanda was ready to meet up with us! we dipped our feet in the hot tub for a little bit then headed out to downtown disney. unfortunately, a monsoon decided to make an appearance for longer than was necessary and we were stuck in the car for a bit to long. once the rain slowed down enough, we ran to get food. it was either get wet and be hangry! we chose the lesser evil of the two! then we perused some of the shops at downtown disney! oh em gee! it’s probably a good thing i didn’t have much money because i would have bought EVERYTHING!!! gah! everything is so fun there! just look! 🙂 we stopped by the lego store for a quick pic with buzz and woody! we’re so cool! gah! even their mickey ears are the coolest! i had on pirate ears, alexi had the little mermaid, and amanda had cinderella! goodbye disney!!!! there will be another post later this week with pictures from my REAL camera! haha don’t worry! i didn’t just use my phone! and if you follow me on my instagram, sorry for the overload of disney infused pictures! i couldn’t help it! 🙂
