i know Christmas isn’t until tomorrow, but i won’t be on here so i figured i’d say it now. i’m not sure how this Christmas is going to be. all i do know is that it will be different and that’s okay. i’m not gonna focus on how things used to be. i’m going to look ahead and make new traditions. it worked for thanksgiving, so here’s to a great Christmas as well. my family has been through our ups and downs, but i know that at the end of the day we still love each other and that’s what counts.

so what am i looking forward to this Christmas? spending time with loved ones. making memories. eating yummy food. reading the Christmas story and celebrating Jesus’ birthday. hanging out with my sisters and goofing around. then ending the night watching my all-time favorite Christmas movie at the byrd theater: it’s a wonderful life! i could watch this movie all year long, but i like to save it for Christmas. it has such a good meaning and brings me to happy tears. haha. am i a nerd for that? yes. do i care? no. it wouldn’t be Christmas without this movie. it inspires me to want to bring kindness to others and shows me that there still are good people in the world. it’s the perfect holiday cheer!

so here’s to you and your family. i wish you all a very merry Christmas. God bless! ♥
