Mother/child sessions are some of my favorite to do! Often times moms get kinda stuck behind the lens of capturing these special moments for their children and family, but then miss being captured themselves. I love when moms get their turn in the spotlight with their babes! It doesn’t happen enough! 

My time with Melanie and Briley was so fun! I definitely earned those smiles from Briley too! Being two is no easy task. Giving smiles away isn’t any easier! 😉 We pulled out all the stops for Briley to smile too! We sang Baby Shark, danced to the Trolls soundtrack, and did silly voices! Nothing was working! Finally, I started to pretend I was crying and BOOM! Briley was laughing her head off! Who would have known? So glad that worked, though! We got some great laughs from her! 🙂
