what do you like to do on rainy days?

on saturday, it was like a monsoon outside. some areas were flooded and there were torrential downpours throughout the area. i’m thankful that i didn’t have anywhere to be (except a photo shoot that had to be rescheduled) and could stay cuddled up under a blanket and watch tv.

i slept in until noon and relaxed all day. it was glorious, especially after my crazy work week. well, this week will be no different. 5 long days lie ahead of me. it’s a transitional period with the kids and everyone is trying to get used to everything. it’s been a little overwhelming for me, but the end will be here before i know it. just gotta keep on truckin’ (whyyyyyy do i keep saying this phrase?). let’s hope i don’t lose my sanity this week, well, what’s left of it anyway. they’re lucky they’re so cute. that is one of their biggest redeeming qualities. let’s hope they all have awesome days! prayers please!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
