Ahhh!!! Proposals give me dinosaurs in my stomach! In a good way! 🙂

When Corey first reached out to me about his plan to propose to his girlfriend, Courtney, along the river in Richmond, I could not stop smiling. He had planned every last detail and it was the cutest thing! He couldn’t wait to surprise Courtney and I was so excited to be in on the plan! 🙂

He planned the proposal for NYE because that was the anniversary of their first kiss! So sweet! He wanted to recreate their first date in Richmond by adding a fun walk along the water before dinner, where he planned to pop the question!

I staked out the location and brought my sister, Lexi, and her boyfriend, Kyle, along as a decoy couple to photograph. That way, when Courtney and Corey arrived, they would just think I was doing a photo session! Sneaky sneaky! 😉

My heart was racing when I saw Corey and Courtney start walking up. We inched our photo session closer to them so I could be nearby when he got down on one knee. It was so intense! hahaha.

I’m so thankful I got to be a part of this fun proposal! Seeing Courtney’s look of surprise and the joy the experienced was priceless!!!
