EASY SPRING ENTERTAINING CHECKLIST

hehe just kidding. she’s not an emu, she GOES to EMU, a.k.a. easter mennonite university. she’s a royal, but their mascot is a lion. weird. i like emus better. so, to me, she’ll always be an emu.

today was very bittersweet. we were all sad that alexi was going to big-kid school, but she was STOKED to start her new journey. she will be playing on their volleyball team and will be a beast! i’m gonna miss her, though. now i’m lonely, ya know, besides ariel. alexi and amanda have both abandoned me. now i’ll never be able to gain control of the remote from ariel. the tv will forever remain on nickelodeon. HELP!

i thought today would bring a lot of tears. oddly enough i didn’t cry. EVERYONE else did, but me. which is weird, since i’m usually the sappy one of the bunch. don’t worry, though. i’ll be watching my usual tv shows this week, a hallmark commercial will come on, and i’ll lose it for sure. 😛

i feel like it took forever to get to her school (almost 3 hours). thankfully, she decided against going to west virginia. i would’ve never survived the long car ride haha.

while i’m going to miss her very much, i am so excited for what lies ahead for her. i just hope she misses us eventually lol. it’s going to be hard adjusting to this new routine. her move marks a new change for this family. things are changing and will never be the same for us. things run way deeper than just alexi moving to school. it’s just the tip of the ice burg. distance won’t break our sista-sista bond. we’ve got this! this will make all of us stronger and i know God’s got us in His hands.

good luck to my little sister and her new adventure. i hope you survive the 3-a-day volleyball practices. kick some BOOTAY!
