After more than 10 years in this small business and photographing over 100 weddings, weddings are still my favorite! I love how I have the experience from years of being a wedding photographer, but still approach each wedding with the excitement like it’s my first one. There’s just something special about weddings that make my heart smile!

While the pretty details will always hold a special place in my heart, my favorite parts of the day are the non-scripted ones. I always gush when I see my bride put on her dress and see her best friends’ reactions! I am smitten when my bride and groom write their own personal vows to exchange during the ceremony. I am almost guaranteed to shed a few tears. I enjoy watching the family break down their funky dance moves on the reception floor (and occasionally join in myself). Weddings never lose their charm for me.

Being able to encourage my couples in this experience and support them along the way, is my favorite! I will never take this responsibility lightly! It is an extreme honor to be a part of such a significant time in your life!

With over 12 years of photographing weddings, we have learned a lot! We will use that knowledge, professionalism, and understanding to take care of you on such an important day! All you have to do is take it all in! 🙂

Tailor-made for you

Weddings are not a “one-size-fits-all” thing. Some wedding days need 8-10 hours of coverage and multiple photographers. Other wedding days need 6 hours of coverage and one photographer. And some weddings might just need a couple of hours for an intimate ceremony and portraits. Whatever you have dreamed of your day being, we are here to cover it for you!

our approach

We know there is a time and place for different photography techniques. During the personal moments we take more of a “fly on the wall” approach, but for family formals we have a “take charge and get things done” vibe. In a respectful way, of course. 😉 Our style is creative and artistic, but also traditional and practical when need be. We read the vibes and take our lead from there. 🙂

Planning Help

For your engagement sessions, we help you pick a location that is special to you and help you find outfits that will best compliment you for photos. We help create custom wedding-day photo timelines that fit seamlessly with your venue/planner. And with our industry experience, we enhance your wedding day by maximizing your photo opportunities.

Pop the champagne! We’re official!

Now that you know we’re a perfect match, let’s make things official and save your date! We can reserve your date with a deposit and signed contract. After that is taken care of, we’ll send you a few surprises to help prepare you for your wedding!

Need help with vendors? We have an awesome collection of people to send your way! We would also LOVE to help you with your timeline and anything else you need to prepare for your big day! Welcome to the family!

Step 3: Engagement photos

Time for your close up!

Yay! One of my favorite parts of the wedding experience is the engagement session! I love being able to hang out with you before your big day and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera! I’ve even written more about it in these two blog posts: here and here!

Step 4: the details

Time to prep for the big day!

About 2 months before your big day, I’ll reach out to help with timeline details and other planning tips! We’ll make sure you’re completely ready for your big day! I’ll send a questionnaire too for all of the important details to make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible!

step 5: Time to get Married!

The Big Day

Your big day has finally arrived! We’re so excited to celebrate with you! We want you to relax and have fun! Being a bride before, I remember how quickly the day buzzed by! Don’t you worry, we will have you covered. Not only will we capture the traditional aspects of the day, but we will be sure to cover all the fun moments in between! I can’t wait!

step 6: Delivery Day

Date-night viewing party!

Your wedding may be over, but you can relive it again and again through the online gallery you’ll receive within a month of your big day! We encourage you to make a date night out of it! Grab your favorite beverage, curl up on the couch, and revisit those sweet memories from your day! We’ll also include details with different ways to preserve and display your photos!
