hey guys! i am SO sorry i have neglected my blog lately. i have been SO BUSY with work, photography jobs, and my personal life. i don’t know about y’all, but spring time is always extra busy for me! to make up for my absent-ness, i am going to post a mini-update on what has been going on the past few weeks that i haven’t had time to post about yet.  🙂

i was featured in boomer magazine!!! eeeeeppp!!! it was such an honor and my first job working for a magazine. a photographer for boomer, matt stanton, contacted me and asked me if i would like to shoot the remodeling of the williamsburg pottery. i went down one friday after work and got special access to the different buildings. it looked so awesome! i can’t wait to go visit again and see the final outcome.

other exciting news: i got my business license! it was made official on april 6th, 2012. i can’t wait to see what the future holds for this business and what God has in store. 🙂

i turned 23!!! WOOP WOOP!!! ( i still feel 17, act like i’m 12, and hang out with 3-yr-old kids all day). they have the coolest clothes, too! when i saw this shirt, i went out and bought my own! 🙂

my sweet sweet friends helped my boyfriend plan an amazing surprise for my birthday! i’m hoping to blog about that one later on, too. so, here’s a peak at the surprise (thanks instagram):

i had an engagement shoot this past week, with andy and zuzi. here are some previews:

i also traveled to to chatham, va with my friend (and second shooter), lindsey. we had such a blast and here are some sneaks from blair and adam’s wedding:

i will try to get their full posts up before the weekend *crosses fingers*. i have some fun shoots coming up. another wedding this weekend, a mime photo shoot on saturday, and a fun shoot on sunday that i will reveal later. 😉

coming up in my personal life:

– my little sister, alexi, is on her senior missions trip in the dominican republic. please keep them in your prayers!

-i did karaoke for the first time EVER on my birthday! it was so fun!

– justin is getting baptized in a few weeks! awesome!

-alexi will be graduating on the 1st of june (she’s growing up too fast)!

-amanda will be home in a couple of weeks!

-i will be heading down to alabama in a few weeks, for my best friend’s wedding! congrats anna and adam! 🙂

-work is wonderful, as usual. i seriously don’t know what i would do without those kiddos. they fill my heart everyday. <3

welp, that’s all i can think of right now. again, sorry life has been so hectic. i LOVE it, but i also get sidetracked.
