during the busy-ness of wedding season means that i spend a lot of time in my car. that also means that my playlist and i become the best of friends. it’s actually been rather nice, because i love having the alone time in the car jamming out to my tunes. it’s like i’m an angst-y teenager again and listening to my music helps with my moods and gets me pumped up for the shoot haha. anyone else? maybe it’s just me! 😉

anywho… these are some of the songs i have been listening to on repeat for the past couple of weeks! if you have any recommendations you think i should add to my playlist, feel free! i love new music!

“we can’t stop” – boyce avenue ft. bea miller (i adore boyce avenue and just love their version of the song!)

“seasons of love” – cast of glee (“the quarterback” episode of glee was so emotional and yet i can’t stop listening to this beautiful dedication to cory).

“church clap” – kb ft. lecrae (this song will definitely pump you up and speaks a powerful message).

“wake me up” – avicii (i have had this song stuck in my head for days. i can’t stop singing the chorus. i love it!).

“counting stars” – onerepublic (again, i love this song and i can’t get it out of my head).

“wrecking ball” – matthew schuler (the voice) (he does a great rendition of this song. i love the voice because the artists make the song into their own version, which brings me to this song…)

“we’re going to be friends” – caroline pennell (the voice) (gah! i love her voice! it’s so pure and she could seriously sing about pages from the dictionary and it would still be incredible.)

“waiting for superman” – daughtry (he’s a favorite and his songs never cease to make me smile).

“just say jesus”–  7eventh time down (whenever this song comes on the radio, it puts things back into perspective for me. no matter how hard things get, all i have to do is call His name and He’ll be there for me).

“speak life” – tobymac (i have been a toby fan since dc talk and will always be. he speaks such truth in all of his songs and just lets God’s word shine through. this is such a positive song about how we should speak life through our words and not have any negative talk. give it a listen).

like i said, feel free to let me know if you have any songs you’d like to send my way! 😉
