there’s no way that it’s december already. it feels like halloween was JUST yesterday. how is it that i was just dressed up as elsa and looking at all of the pretty leaves on the trees. okay. for real. no more blinking. i just miss too much of life!
here are my goals for this last month of 2014:
business:
– finish shooting/editing my final sessions for the year and rock it out!
– be a great second shooter for danielle and karen! 🙂
– ’tis the season for engagements! i would love love LOVE to welcome some new brides to the va photography family!
– organize my current workspace and blog it
– mail out all of my christmas packages
– design and order my albums
– update my website
– blog my 2014 recap post
– reflect on my business this past year (and yes, i have to write it down because i will keep putting it off;)
personal:
– watch it’s a wonderful life at the byrd
– visit amanda in disney world with alexi and sarina (our honorary link sister – we will have to come up with an “a” name, obviously!)
-attend justin’s graduation from the fire academy!!!! woooohooooo!!!!
-share my DIY Christmas crafts 🙂
– finish buying and wrapping gifts!
– visit my nana!
– have a great Christmas no matter where i’m at this year!

My goals: (1) Blog consistently every week in December [shooting for 2-3 times per week] … (2) Give Christmas gifts to a local refugee family in Newport News in lieu of my parents and I exchanging gifts this year … (3) Attend and enjoy the three scheduled holiday parties! … (4) Finish that one elusive book, and then re-read Mockingjay! … (5) Enjoy the spirit of the season with my family, Al, and friends!
