branding. it defines what you are in the world of photography. not only does it describe what you are, but what you represent. it describes the type of clients you have, the kind of person you are, the style of shoots you do. more or less it’s a label. one that you’re stuck with, whether you like it or not. i’ve been thinking about branding a lot. i know i am no where close to getting my act together with defining what i represent, but these are some things that i would like to think are ME. when people see them, they’re like, “oh, ashley might like that.” or something like, “haha ashley would SO do something like that” or, “yupp, that is SO ashley!” so, here it is. some things that i think describe me, in a nutshell, with pretty pictures (thank you pinterest! 🙂 i hope these reflect in me and my business. oh, and i have thirteen things because that is my fave number (see what i did there?). 😉
1. peacock (looooooveeee peacocks! so pretty and colorful!)
2. friends (nuff said! best show ever! Â i quote it almost daily!)
3. laughing (a day is never complete until it is filled with laughter.)
4. glitter (it always makes me smile. i almost always find a way to incorporate it into a school craft hehe.)
5. being genuine ( i believe that it is very important to be real. i don’t want to be anyone but who God made me to be. i want to be original and genuine in every aspect of my life.)
6. purple (best color in the WORLD!!!)
7. jesus (without Him, i am nothing. glory to Him. He makes it all possible. i love Him with all my heart.)
8. photography (der der der! i am so passionate about photography. i literally think about it all the time.)
9. kid at heart (never grow up. kids have all the fun.)
(oh snap! that’s me!)
10. being a dreamer ( that is one thing i have always been good at: dreaming. it didn’t matter what ideas i came up with, i always convinced myself they were going to come true. to this day, i still believe in my dreams. why else would God have given them to me?)
11. always believing (believe! never give up!)
12. cheesy pop music (makes the worldgo ’round. always gets me in a chipper mood!)
13. Â kindness and love (i always want to reflect this. in all aspects of my life, i want to be kind and show love. that’s the least i can do after all that God has done for me. plus, this quote below is SO true. encourage one another, don’t tear them down.)
