EASY SPRING ENTERTAINING CHECKLIST

another halloween has come and gone. kids are in a sugar coma. dentists are preparing for the increase in cavities.

another halloween has come and gone. kids are in a sugar coma. dentists are preparing for the increase in cavities. costumes are put away. trick or treating is just a distant memory. thoughts of halloween are put on the back burner and the next holiday is making an entrance.

with thanksgiving coming up, there is only one thing on my mind: FOOD! haha. just kidding. while holiday food is something i look forward to, that’s not what has been occupying the space in my mind lately. with the journey that i’m going through now, i have faced many difficulties. it has not been easy along the way, but i know it will be worth it. God has also blessed me with amazing people in my life to support me through this time and encourage me along the way.

thanksgiving is right around the corner and with “thankfulness” being the theme for the month, i would like to challenge everyone to think of ONE (just one) thing that you’re thankful for each day. OBVIOUSLY this is something we should be doing every day, haha. but we tend to lose track of things and forget that even something so small in our lives, can be such a blessing. it’s really easy to focus on the negative in life, when things get rough, but we can’t give in to that. something that i am going to do EVERY DAY is to think of at least ONE thing that i am thankful for in my life. it has to be something different each day too. anyone want to take this challenge with me? we can encourage each other to have an attitude of gratitude. hehe. oh yes, i’m lame, you don’t even have to tell me. haha. 😛

you can look for my daily updates on my photography facebook page. i’ll put my first one here today, too.

today i am thankful for: genuine people. i have been so blessed and supported by amazing people in my life. things can get pretty rough sometimes, but God has sent me beautiful people to make my days a little bit simpler. for that, i am thankful! ♥

  • I really like this idea. I’m totally in. Today I’m thankful for the fact that my husband finally turned the heat on- there’s nothing that lifts my spirits like the smell of the heater turning on for the first time in the winter! It reminds me of CHRISTMAS!

  • Im gonna play the trump card as first and foremost, cause it is first and foremost. Im thankful for my father in heaven sending his son to die for me. We dont deserve it, and its so awesome.
I think its great to focus on the good things in life, bad emotions and thoughts can weigh us down, and having a positive attitude is a habit that you have to get into. Chock this one up to another one of your great ideas! Im in!
