You guys, I think I’m living on the wrong coast. California is where I belong! When I realized they lived in California, we knew we had to make this work during my trip out west. I was so excited we were able to make Jenna and Tony’s San Francisco engagement session happen! We had such a fun time and it was so refreshing photographing such a sweet couple in a new city!
I loved visiting San Francisco and would love to go back! I’d especially like to go back because the fog made an un-welcomed appearance. I drove all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge before Jenna and Tony’s session and couldn’t even see it! The fog was THAT intense! I think that’s enough of a reason to go back there, don’t ya think?! 🙂
Speaking of the fog, it really creeped up on us during their session! It’s definitely an interesting factor in San Francisco. Parts of the city were perfectly sunny and the skies were clear. Then you’d go 5 miles down the road and the temperature would drop immensely and the fog would darken the skies. It was crazy! During the first part of Tony and Jenna’s session, we got some awesome light! At the end of their session and final location, the fog crept in! It was definitely a different feel than normal, but I really dig it! Their photos look so COOL and unique! Very and ethereal and enchanting too!!! I’m so excited to share them with y’all!
We ended their session at the Sutro Baths which was super cool in itself. It used to be a large community pool center with several pools, but the community went under during The Great Depression. Later on, they tried to revive the pools, but the facility ended up catching on fire and now they’re all in ruins. It’s such a beautiful place! I’d love to go back there again too!
I hope y’all enjoy my many favorites from their session! I had so much fun with these two! They even took me to a local pizza place afterwards and we had a great time hanging out! Can’t wait for their wedding next October!!! 🙂
I recognize those places! Did u get to chinatown?
Gorgeous!! Wow. I’m blown away!
