How Photography Helped Me

I was talking with my friend the other day about when I first started my photography business. It was (and still is) such a big deal to me. As I was talking with her about the different ways photography has helped me, it really made me pause and reflect. In the past few years, photography truly has helped me grow in so many ways.

So excited to be sharing Sam and Ward’s Virginia Beach Engagement Session with y’all!!! It may have looked like a beautiful spring day, but it was extremely cold during their session! These two totally rocked it out! MAJOR points to them! I was still cold in my hoodie and here they are rockin’ the short sleeves! My couples are the best!!!

Adventures in Wedding Planning

Before Justin and I were even engaged, I had a list of song ideas for our wedding. I knew what I was going to walking down the aisle to, I knew what my bridesmaids were going to walk down the aisle to, and we thought we knew what our first dance song would be. Now we’re stumped!

Samantha and Mike Wedding

YAY!!!!! Samantha and Mike’s wedding day was the perfect way to kick off my 2016 season! I loved photographing their day at The Lighthouse Sound! These two were the sweetest people! Actually, everyone on their wedding day was so sweet! I have never been treated that well before by so many people at once! Everyone was so excited to be there for Samantha and Mike! All the vendors worked together to serve them too! It was incredible! I’m so glad too, because these two deserve it!

BrideBook

I want to start off by saying I know this might not be a huge deal to some people, but I am just so EXCITED!!! When my sweet bride, Jessica, told me that my images from her wedding were going to be on the cover of a local magazine, BrideBook, I couldn’t contain my excitement! All I kept saying was, “this is so cool!” like I was in middle school or something haha.
