Adventures in Wedding Planning

You guys, before I get into this week’s Adventures in Wedding Planning post, I just wanted to take a second to be thankful! Every time I think about our wedding (after I have a mini-panic attack haha), I realize how blessed we are and how wonderful the people are we are working with! Gah! They are such blessings and I am so thankful for everyone who is a part of our big day! 🙂

Amina and Mike Yorktown Beach Engagement

You know how some things in life are just meant to be? Well, I think Mike, Amina, and I were meant to work together! Remember that bridal show I did at the beginning of the year? I absolutely loved being a part of it, but didn’t really feel like I connected with the couples there. Most people had already booked a photographer and were trying to get ideas from me or were looking for the best deal. No one was interested in my photography experience. No one, that is, until Amina and Mike came along!

On Saturday, I had the privilege of photographing Katy and Trevor’s sweet backyard ceremony. It was a HOT day, but so full of love! Everyone was so excited to see these two join together in holy matrimony!

Acute Designs

EEEE!!! This was such a fun shoot for me! It’s always great to photograph a little something out of the box and different from what you’re used to shooting! It allows you to stretch your creativity and get out of your comfort zone! I LOVED doing that for Acute Designs! It was an honor to photograph her handmade custom accessories for her new website! She creates some incredible pieces! Megan (the fabulous model/one of my amazing brides!) and I had the best time going through each piece and seeing the unique designs! You’ll be able to see why when you look at the pieces below!
