You guys, I think I’m living on the wrong coast. California is where I belong! When I realized they lived in California, we knew we had to make this work during my trip out west. Last week I had a blast getting to know Emily and Kevin more during their engagement session! We photographed their session on Kevin’s family’s property. It meant a lot to them, plus provided some meaningful locations for them!

Ahhh!!! You guys! I am just so excited to share this session with you guys! I woke up before the sun was awake to meet Tonia and Kevin for their engagement session downtown. If you know me, I like my sleep so it was difficult to drag my booty out of bed. However, my reason for getting out of bed was a good one so that made it all a little easier for me! Plus, we got to escape the heat of the day and that was the cherry on top! 🙂

You know how some things in life are just meant to be? Well, I think Mike, Amina, and I were meant to work together! Remember that bridal show I did at the beginning of the year? I absolutely loved being a part of it, but didn’t really feel like I connected with the couples there. Most people had already booked a photographer and were trying to get ideas from me or were looking for the best deal. No one was interested in my photography experience. No one, that is, until Amina and Mike came along!
